The boring bits, up front.
Most reel disputes are scope disputes. So here's the scope before you pay, not after.
Rights
Full commercial usage transfers on final payment. Worldwide, perpetual, organic and paid social.
Revisions
Counted, not haggled. Two rounds per reel on Single and Starter; unlimited within scope on Growth and above.
Rollover
Unused reels carry one month forward. A quiet month isn't a wasted one.
Exit
30 days' written notice, any time. No exit fee, and you keep everything already delivered.
Do I need to send you footage?
Not necessarily. Most clients on Starter and Growth shoot on a phone against a brief we write, and we handle everything after that. If you'd rather not shoot at all, Signature includes a shoot day — or add one to any tier for $900.
What if I don't like the hook?
You get three per concept, so you're picking rather than accepting. If none land, that's a revision round, not an argument.
Can you post them for me?
On Signature, yes — scheduling and posting are included. On other tiers we deliver files and captions and you publish.
What counts as "within scope"?
Changes to the reel we agreed: cuts, captions, music, pacing, grade. A new concept is a new reel. That line is written into your scope so nobody has to guess.
Can I run them as paid ads?
Yes, included. Broadcast, out-of-home or paid beyond twelve months needs extended rights — that's +30%, agreed before we shoot, never after.

We write a treatment first — the idea, the look, the shape, the shot list. You pay nothing for it and you own the conversation. Only then does a number make sense.

Is the treatment really free?
Yes, for a genuine brief. It's how we work out whether we're right for it, and it's how you find out what you're actually buying. If you take the treatment elsewhere, that's your call — we'd rather find out now.
Why "from" prices?
Because a brand film in one Dubai room and a brand film across three cities aren't the same film. The "from" is a real floor, not bait — and the fee is fixed the moment you sign the scope.
Do you shoot outside the UAE?
Regularly. Travel, accommodation and permits are quoted at cost and approved by you before anyone books a flight. No markup on pass-through.
Who owns the footage?
You own the delivered films and the rushes, worldwide and in perpetuity, on final payment. Broadcast and out-of-home usage is +30%, agreed at scope.
What if we go over?
A fixed fee is fixed. If we underestimated, that's ours to absorb. If you change the brief mid-shoot, that's a written variation with a number attached before we roll.

How do I pay?
Card, Apple Pay or bank transfer, in USD or AED. Ebooks are instant. Contracts invoice on the first of the month. Film projects are 50% to hold the dates and 50% on delivery.

Yes. If we underestimated the job, that's ours to absorb. If you change the brief, that's a written variation with a number attached before we carry on — never a surprise on the invoice.
Why are you cheaper than a US agency?
We're in Dubai. Lower overheads, and your edits land while you sleep. It isn't a discount on the work — it's a discount on our rent.
Do you do refunds?
Ebooks: if the file won't open or isn't what the page said, we refund without argument. Services: work delivered is work billed, but nothing moves to the next stage until you've signed off the last one.
Can I mix a contract and a film?
Most clients do. A Growth contract alongside one brand film a year is the most common shape on the books, and we'll scope it as one engagement.

Chapterbeam started in 2023 as an ebook imprint. We got good at the words and then kept watching good books die quietly — not because the writing was weak, but because nobody saw them. So we built the other half.

Not a stock library. Not an account manager you never meet again. Six people, and you'll know which of them is holding your project before you pay anything.

Six portrait slots and one founder frame. Add a photo with style="--ph:url('people/name.jpg')" and the frame fills. Left empty they read as unexposed film rather than broken.
Three things we won't move on.
Every studio has a manifesto. Most of them are decoration. These three cost us money, which is how you know they're real.

If we won't publish a number, we don't deserve the enquiry. The whole rate card is public.

Nobody signs anything they haven't read. Deliverables, dates and rights, in writing, first.

Chapterbeam/Brand
Brand · The mark
One idea, two readings.
The mark is a lens barrel seen head on — a thick C, open to the right — with the beam escaping its mouth. The C is for Chapterbeam. The barrel is the film half. The beam is the thesis: a reading lamp and a projector are the same light.
The mark.
It survives being small, which is the only test that matters. Below it is shown at 96px, 48px, 32px and 16px — the last is a browser tab.
The lockup.
Mark and wordmark, horizontal. The gap is half the mark’s height and never closes. Wordmark is Fraunces 600 at −3% tracking.
The rules.
Four of them. They exist because a logo that bends in every direction stops being a logo.
The beam points right
Never mirrored, never rotated. Light travels forward, into the page. Flipping it breaks the only idea the mark has.
Clearspace
Keep the height of the mark clear on every side. Nothing sits inside that margin — not a tagline, not a border.
Below 24px, drop the beam
At favicon size the gradient turns to mud. Use the flat C alone. It still reads.
Don't outline it
No strokes, no drop shadows, no gradients other than the one supplied. The glow comes from the page, not the logo.
Files: assets/mark.svg (icon, baked colours) and assets/logo.svg (full lockup). In-page the mark is inline SVG so it inherits whichever palette is active — switch the palette bottom right and watch it follow.

2. Non-Refundable Nature of Digital Products
As digital products are intangible, refunds or exchanges are generally unavailable once they are downloaded or accessed. However, we are here to assist you with any issues.
3. Conditions for Refunds
Refunds are considered under specific circumstances:
- The digital product was not delivered or accessible due to an issue on our end.
- The product received differs significantly from its description.
- The file is corrupted or otherwise unusable.
4. Steps to Request a Refund
If you meet the refund criteria, follow these steps to initiate the process:
- Contact Support: Email our team at support@chapterbeam.com within 14 days of purchase, including your order number, issue description, and relevant screenshots.
- Review Process: Our team will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days. Additional information may be requested to resolve the issue.
- Refund Issuance: If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days, with a confirmation email sent upon issuance.
5. Special Cases and Exceptions
Promotional Purchases: Products purchased on sale or with promotional discounts are generally not eligible for refunds unless they meet the criteria in Section 3.
Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for issues originating from third-party platforms such as payment gateways or download services. Please contact the relevant third party for assistance.
6. Exchange Policy
Digital products are not eligible for exchanges. If issues arise, please refer to the refund process above.

What we keep.
Short version: your order details, your email, and whatever you send us to work on. We do not sell it, we do not enrich it, and you can have it deleted by asking.

- Automatically: IP address, browser, pages viewed, referrer. Standard server and analytics data.
- Payments: handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Production: footage, stills and audio from shoots, which may include images of you and your team.
2. Why
To deliver what you bought, to invoice you, to answer your emails, to meet tax and accounting obligations, and to improve the site. That is the whole list. We do not sell your data, rent it, or feed it to a data broker.
3. Marketing
